If you come to National Parks for nature, peace and quite, stay away from Boca Chita Key on a weekend. It is mobbed with board, campers and picnickers. A lot of the boats have generators up on shore, adding to the noise. There is a...More

We really enjoyed the boat tour provided by the Park Service to Boca Chita Key. It was beautiful. We hiked the short trail around the island in about 10 minutes. The lighthouse is pretty and had pretty views from it. I loved the blue water!...More

During a visit to Boca Chita Key with friends for a night photography outing, I was treated to the beauty of this Key in late afternoon, twilight and night. At each of these times, the ornamental lighthouse, the chapel and the harbor provided amazing sites...More

We took the Boca Chita boat tour with the national park. We learned a lot of history of the area on the trip and enjoyed a half hour walk around the island.

I highly recommend the boat ride from the visitor's center to Boca Chita. The tour guides were great, very informative about the park itself, the history of the Boca Chita Island and the keys in general. The lighthouse was cool to see and the island...More

This is by far a hidden gem in Biscayne National Park. Perfect place for camping, relaxing, enjoy the pristine waters or just going fishing and place the fresh fish on the grill.

Admittedly, I have not been on many boat rides, actually, this may have been my 7th ever. I loved it though! My wife and I went Friday afternoon and although we missed the morning snorkeling due to some fairly high winds and that sort of...More

Boat ride was nice. Clear salty water at the beach. Bring snorkeling mask and water shoes (bottom is very rocky). We swam in the warm water and saw beautiful fish in the mangroves. Wish we would have had more time to spend on the island....More
