So many mosquittos, they were everywhere. But it was a beautiful place to explore. We didn't see anyother human during our stay. Very secluded and romantic.

I lived in Homestead all my life and only came here by accident this past summer. I love this national park. There is a beautiful path to walk or fish on, placed to canoe/kayak and rentals available and of course boat ramps/docks. We entered a...More

In contrast to other areas of Biscayne National Park such as Boca Chita Key and the Visitors’ Center, Elliott Key does not offer a great deal to see. Pelicans and other birds frequent the dock, but if your time is limited, I suggest that you...More

For the love of God, do not camp here. This place can be fine for day use only. That means you come here on your own boat or with a friend on their boat so you can leave. We took the 8am morning boat here...More

Place to be near by Miami, calm and clear water, good for diving, not too much to see, but safe. The sunset is absolutely beautiful, and at this time of the year is around 6:30 pm.

Unless you have your own boat to get you here, you need to pay to take a boat trip out here...it is remarkably clean...it is maintained by NPS...and can be used for free by anyone I guess...beautiful views from it...

No, it's too far. It's 45 minutes by motorboat to get there from the Biscayne visitor center.

Elliott Key??? (5 Replies)
OK, I have a masters degree in Google searching.......... Well, I am joking with that, but I am constantly getting the run around everywhere on how to get to Elliott Key if you do not have your own boat or transportation??? Again, a lot of time, resources and intelligence spent trying to figure this out and there is absolutely no concrete answer out there. I guess I am dumber than I thought. Long story short, is there a way to get to Elliott Key without having your own transportation?...More

Think I found what I was looking for so ignore. Gosh you would think they would make it simpler to find as most Florida State and National Parks are good about this type of info, unfortunately Biscayne gets a FAIL!
