The visitor center had the park rangers outside at tables with information and maps.
I would definitely recommend stopping here before going up the hill into the park. We arrived in the area late in the afternoon and went to the visitor center then so we could plan our day for the following morning. You can go inside but the exhibits and movie we’re not available because of Covid. There was a small shop that had the usual books, postcards, T-shirts, hats and other things with arches printed on them.

The shop itself was quite small and they tried to make traffic one way around the room. There was one door dedicated to going in and the 2nd door dedicated to leaving the building. It was quite crowded when we were there the 2nd week in October. As we were leaving there was a door attendant who was only letting people in as other people were exiting the visitor center shop.

There were also large clean restrooms at this location.

We stopped at the visitor center after paying the entrance fee of $30 (food for 7 days). The visitor center has bathrooms and a great souvenir store with plenty of items for tourists. The exhibition was not open during our visit in March 2021 because of Covid. Staff are friendly!

We visited in July 2020 and the visitor center's gift shop was open, both indoors and outdoors. You can get your park stamp outside and shop some of their merchandise. Additional merch is located indoors. They said they were limiting it, but the indoor gift shop seemed way too busy for me, and I do wish they would have limited it more. They are also just requesting masks but not requiring them, so some folks in this small space were not wearing masks as a heads up.

We stopped by the visitor center on our visit to Arches. We had already hiked some in the park before our stop, but we wanted to see what information was available. The park rangers were very friendly and knowledgeable. There is a sizable gift shop in the visitor center, but there is also a good bit of information there as well. This is a bigger visitor center than many national parks because this is one of the more popular parks in the country. The facilities were clean and the center was convenient.

In spite of the fact that much of the visitors center is closed off due to Covid 19, it is still worth stopping here. A stop here is a great way to plan your time in the park. The advantage of a concise outline will allow you to maximize your adventure. The rangers are more than happy to assist you and tailor your time to your interests. In addition there is a gift shop with a wide variety of educational as well as entertaining books and wares for all shapes, ages and sizes. Unfortunately it is the interactive educational center that is inaccessible.

We were pleasantly surprised by the visitor's center here at Arches. It's right off the main road before heading up to the top where all the hikes and arches are. The restrooms are big and clean, even when tour buses come in by the loads. The gift shop is open and clean with lots of selection. And, of course, the rangers are really knowledgable of their park with lots of great information and passport stamps as well. There was always something for us to look at while waiting for the rest of our party.

We did end up eating at the picnic tables right off the visitor center's parking lot because there is not a lot of places to eat up at the top.

This place really is busy with lots of people bustling about. We tried to visit on our first day here at the end of our trip through the park but it was closing. We had to go back another day just to see it. We enjoyed the informative movie and some of the exhibits. There is a good store, lots of restrooms and a water source to fill your water jugs.

No shuttles in this park. I went the first week of June and the entrance line was not bad. I would guess the lines are longer, the later you go in the summer months. Another beautiful National Park, not to be missed. I toured Zion, Bryce, and Arches on this trip and I am unable to pick a favorite. The parks have some similarities, but each has its own uniqueness. The arches are not near the main road, but easily viewed from your car or viewing areas. To pose in the most famous arch, you will need to hike in a bit. Other smaller arches are located higher up on the rocks and I am not sure if there are trails to them.

Excellent visitor center. Well managed with Covid precautions (masks and spacing in the store. VC itself is closed but there's an outside hut staffed by a NPS Ranger. Good info on hiking options and what's open/available. Store is fully open.

Must wear mask, friendly staff, good array items. The visitor center itself was closed, but store & bathrooms were open. Kiosk outside as well, with hand sanitizer stations.
