Let me just start by saying, absolutely nobody else on this trail the whole time we were there. Easy trail to Skyline, awesome pictures and I had to pry my 11 year old out of here to get back to the car. It was beautiful, lots of wildlife because the trail was empty. This was my favorite hike we did... More

This picturesque arch is right off the side of the road and over a short hill. It's just 100 feet or so from the parking area to photo-taking range. For the more adventurous, it is possible to get closer to the arch, but we found the view sufficient from where we stopped. Of all the arches we saw on our... More

As we didn't get as close as we wanted to the Delicate arch, we were delighted to come across this one on our way out the park. Stunningly beautiful and not far off the road. It's so neat to see all the different type of rock and sand that are part of this landscape, up close.

The hike (if you can even call it that) to this arch is short and sweet. Lots of cute little creatures spotted on the way. It's cool to see where a chunk broke off a while back. I went in the early afternoon and it was deserted. All the other arches I visited were teeming with people. No complaints though,... More

This was one of my favorite arches at Arches National Park. You can see where part of the rock has broken off. You can stand almost directly underneath the base and look up at the arch.

The hike to Skyline Arch is short and easy, with a round trip of less than half a mile. The arch makes for spectacular photographs, owing to its position on the skyline, literally. Plus, a view of the arch from the other side is available from the Devil's Garden Campground.

This arch has an interesting history illustrated with some photos. It's clear why you are not allowed to go right under it.

This arch is literally just off the roadside and is enormous. It was one of our favourites as there were not many people there :)

This arch can be seen easily from the road or you can hike a trail for a closer view of it. Arches National Park is known for its beautiful arches. Keep your eyes open for other arches as you drive down the road.

You can see this without getting out of your car, but will need to hike up a farely steep trail to get close.
