There are places to stop and park but if it is during peak hours or busy season the lots could be full as most aren't very big. The loop is an easy drive and the scenery is beautiful. Most of the road is one-way but...More

The air is clean and crisp and on a clear day- the loop is too. The entire loop is worth doing. Try to do it all. Without traffic- it can be done in a few hours.

Acadia is absolutely beautiful. Wonderful scenery and great hiking trails. Sunrise and sunset from Cadillac Mt.-stunning. Weather was perfect week of Sept. 12. Leaves were barely starting to change,so if you want to see those,I would go a week or 2 later.
