Be prepared to battle the crowds on sunny, beautiful days. But the rangers are knowledgeable and friendly. Great 10 minute introduction film to the park and make sure to take advantage of the free shuttle bus!

Stop here first for lots of friendly help and to pay your park pass fees. It is $25 and good for a week or less if you are senior. Lots of maps and cool stuff to see and purchase.

The staff are super nice people...very helpful. Its tough to work in such a nice place and people like me come up to you to ask for your recommendation of a hike or two. It's like picking your favorite kid, we love them all. These guys are really friendly. The hiking maps are very helpful to have if you plan... More

Beautiful park... Nice pull offs. Park Loop drive is one way and you are allowed to stop in the right lane. Lots of walks for non hikers... A must see if you are in the area

Besides getting a park pass there is a wonderful movie at the visitors center which helps understand the history of the park and its creation as a National Park.

The agents at this visitors center were incredibly helpful as to where you should start, places to see and ensuring we had everything we needed before we ventured out into the park.

Just stopped in to pay the admittance fee, use bathrooms and get map. If you need more help there is a few Rangers available for your question and they seemed to be very helpful. Also has a small gift shop.

This is one of the many beautiful places in Maine. We visited Acadia National Park while on vacation in June. Amazing views. Just so pretty. Go....you will love it too.
