Absolutely loved our tour. Willie & Hank were our horses and along with our knowledgeable guide were wonderful at showing us through the park and giving us such a great history on the area. We took the Rockefeller bridge tour which is a beautifully shady green route through the park. I definitely recommend this.

The carriage ride on the carriage path was like stepping back in time. Our drivers told us history of the carriage trails that were built by the Rockefeller family. The trails are shady, cool, and gorgeous. This gives a peaceful and wonderful view of Acadia Park. You see parts of the park that you probably won't see any other way.... More

It was the best carriage ride we ever took. Deryn was very talkative and most informative. Well educated on Mr. Rockerfellar ' s bridges and we learned a lot. She had a good sense of humor as well. The other narrator was not so vocal but it is her first year at the stables.

we went on a carriage ride for two hours, and had a great time. Both of our drivers (Lee and I can't remember the other driver's name, but she is the owner's daughter) had many stories about the area to tell, and made the trip so much more enjoyable. I recommend this activity as a great way to spend two... More

The beauty of Acadia is amazing but I do not recommend the 2 hour tour. Way too long to see the exact same thing going up as coming down. The guide was sweet and when she talked it was great. However, there were two times when we went 15 or 20 minutes and she said nothing. Each time I looked... More

We took the Mr. Rockefeller Bridges tour, a two hour tour on the Carriage Roads. Our guides were Emily and Lee and they were very knowledgeable and gave us stories of the bridges, the park, the Rockefellers and even of the horses kept at the stables, as well as some humor. The trip was very pleasant and the horses, Gub... More

My family of four ( 2 teenagers, my spouse and myself) took the Bridge Tour. This is a perfect way to take a break from hiking and still see Acadia. It is also the way Rockefeller meant for us to use the roads - in a carriage. Our guide was EXTREMELY knowledge about the history of the Rockefeller family, the... More

We loved our trip up the mountain pulled by Charlie and Charmer the horses The guides were expert and knowledgeable about the stables and how the carriage ride trails were built. Makala was one of the guides and she and her co-guide were skilled.

We ended up on the two-hour Bridge Tour because the one hour tour was sold out. As others have said the two hour ride was a little long but because of our two guides, Katie and Daryn, it was worth it! They were awesome and made the two hours go by quickly, even in the rain! They were friendly, engaging... More

My family of four adults reserved a private carriage ride to the summit of Day Mountain. My experience with everyone with this company was spectacular. I started planning with Emily to make sure my mobility challenged aunt would be able to enjoy this trip and had follow ups from her father Mike to make sure I understood all aspects of... More
