This little walk offers a different view of Acadia. You can enjoy sweeping views of majestic peaks and panoramas of fall color while strolling along a level path. This is one of the easier hikes in Acadia. Nice flat hike with views of the meadow. Stretch it further and head over to the gardens.

Great Meadow trail offered a scenic, mostly flat walk from downtown Bar Harbor, past Kebo Valley golf club to the edge of Acadia National Park. We entered at Sur le Monts spring and enjoyed the garden before strolling back to town.

Take this hike several times a year with the dog...not hard walking at all, and a great chance to see wildlife!
