After our 2 day game drive at Sibuya Lodge, we wondered around the area for a quiet stroll before returning to Port Elisabeth for our flight to Cape Town. This is just a nice quiet beach to walk on.

We arrived at 5 when the lifeguards were leaving and nearly everyone else was gone, so we were nearly alone on this beautiful beach where the Kariega river runs into the ocean. Gorgeous, clean, idyllic beach to walk along in the late afternoon.

Peaceful, safe and not crowded. Can be difficult if a strong easterly wind is blowing. It is best at a low spring tide.

This has to be one of the best beaches anywhere in the world. It has miles of unspoilt soft white sandy beaches with some beautiful dunes , the Kariega river and lagoon for swimming , excellent restaurant - Homewards right on the beach - superb.
