About
Welcome to the Tamborine Mountain Glow Worm Tours! During our tours you will experience the results of our ground-breaking conservation project, as we guide you through our spectacular purpose-built cave, filled with thousands of glowing Glow Worms! We offer the only opportunity in Queensland to see Glow Worms during the day, and over the course of 30 minutes, you’ll meet a Glow Worm up close and learn all about their life cycle and behaviour. Our cave features a colony of native Mt. Tamborine Glow Worms, and is part of a long-term breeding program, so your admission helps support and ensure the survival of the species in South East Queensland for future generations!

An amazing experience to learn about glow worms. Some very interesting facts. The kids enjoyed it as much as the adults. Don't forget to book ahead so you don't miss out.

Visited Mt Tambourine Glow worms as a family, Harrison was the tour guide, he sit himself a high standard as having the best (or worst) dad jokes and he succeeded, the glow worm tour was for about 30 mins but it was worth it, there was a short video followed by an action packed (joke) tour of the man made cave system, Guide was so passionate and informative about the glow worms the time flew by, Would I recommend it to people visiting? Hell yes, there is also a frog exhibit but highlight was the glow worms,

An enjoyable and informative visit learning about the little critters. Inspiring to learn it is privately funded. Great to see such passion.

My Children are 9, 12 and 13. We made the trip to Tamborine Mountain to check out the Glow Worms as my wifd had been wanting to do it for years. It cost about $45 for the 5 of us and the Glow worm tour went for about 30 mins. The Tour guide Dayna, was very knowledgable and made the kids laugh, overall being a good experience. The kids also loved checking out the Frogs aswell. If you are in the area, definately worth a stop.

Man made small cove but guide was great with sense of humour and lots of info given. Its a really small cave that you literally just stand there listen to the info and admire the glowing beauties and walk out the other side. Its not quite what I was expecting but nonetheless it was a good way to spend 40 mins or so on the tour, I know more now than I did before I went!

Enjoyed the informative walk through the man made cave. The surrounding was beautiful. There was a board walk leading to a frog and insect display as well. There was also a cafe and gift shop for visitors.

The location is beautiful and well designed, from the lake with the ducks, to the creek and forest walk to Frog Hollow and the Glow Worm cave. Glow worm cave was very interesting and the tour guide was clearly passionate about glow worms. This attraction would be suitable for all ages.
