On first glance this chateau, although vaguely imposing, looked dark and foreboding in its wooded surroundings. After waiting for half an hour in the hot sun, the guide rambled on in French before finally unlocking the place to herd us in. Unbelievably she then proceeded to...More

Visited this chateau but most of it was closed. The tower that was open housed an exhibition of forest folk lore. This was basically an exercise on how to use your Christmas decorations in the summer. Give it a miss.
