Windy at the park, which helps with the very high temperatures. There is also a viewing point at the end of the park which is very stunning to see Valletta and Birgu, including the Fort St.Angelo.
Breathtaking and would definitely come if u want to take pictures with picturesque backgrounds, other than that little to do here and the entire city.

May 2024 • Friends
On the 30th of May at Gardjola Gardens at approx 2pm.
I was unexpectedly approached by a English guy and told to leave the park immediately who informed me that a private function was being held there. I was under the impression that public parks are intended for the enjoyment of all community members, and I was taken aback by being asked in a rude manner to vacate a public space for a private event.
This experience was quite upsetting and inconvenient. I had planned to spend a portion of my day enjoying the park’s amenities, and being removed without prior notice or any visible signage indicating the park was reserved for a private event was both surprising and disappointing.

Beautiful little garden with a fountain and plenty of benches which is situated atop the Senglea fortifications. Fantastic viewing point to watch the Grand harbour battery in Valletta fire the cannon at twelve noon. Awesome views of the huge liners when docked as well as the super yachts moored off Fort St Angelo. It is a very popular site for weddings so the gardens can be off limits to the public sometimes.

Great views of Valletta and Birgu/Vittoriosa from this garden and a wonderful place to sit and relax. The Vedette lookout at the end of the garden on the tip of the peninsula is also interesting for the unusual large eye and ear shapes on the side.

Very interesting building. Great views of Valletta Grand Harbour and Waterfront and Fort St. Angelo, especially if you are so lucky to watch the fireworks from this beautiful area....

Located at the tip of Senglea over looking the Grand Harbour and over to Valletta. The garden area is well maintained and a quiet place to relax and enjoy the surrounds! Great place to view cruise ships arriving in port! Worth a short visit to enjoy the scenery!

We were married on the 8th November in the Gardjola Gardens. The gardens were beautiful and well tended with amazing views. They closed the gardens during the ceremony which was lovely! Can highly recommend as a wedding venue, providing you get the weather!

My wife and I visited Gardjola Gardens during our recent visit to Malta.
We took the number 1 bus to Senglea, got off at the bus terminus, and walked from there.
Gardjola Gardens itself is quite small, with palm trees and seating areas, not much greenery really, although very well kept, and during our visit we witnessed a lady going round tidying up.
To many people, the name Gardjola Gardens, might suggest to them that they will be visiting some kind of gardens with an abundance of colour and flowers - it is not like that, and I think in all honesty the reason you would visit here is for the superb views.
The views over to Valletta, the Grand Harbour, and to the sides are just absolutely stunning from this viewpoint.
Be sure to go in 'Il-gardjola' (the guard tower) and view from there, there is no charge.
The guard tower has various symbols sculpted on it such as an eye, an ear, and a crane bird, which represent guardianship and observance protecting the Maltese shores.

For me is the best view you can see the Grand Harbel. And other places. Like Valletta and Vittorosa San Angelo .The Garjola it lovely. Something that you better don't miss. It has been buil long long years ago. In your mind only one thing you had to remember. How in those years they buil this well and the Garjola. Remember everything but hand. There wasn't nothing to work with.Hope one day you visit.

This little park is an oasis of calm and offers great views on Valletta. A great place to rest your feet when you are visiting the three cities.
