We both enjoyed the audio visual presentation describing the evolution of Durdle door and Lulworth Cove.

Friendly helpful staff
Nov 2019
We looked round the Visitor Centre on Friday. We found the staff friendly and informative. We had a long chat with one young man who was most knowledgeable about the local bird life and he supplied us with interesting information also giving us plenty of time to chat. The shop was well stocked with original gifts at reasonable prices. A great addition to this beautiful area.

Interesting centre
Oct 2019 • Family
The Lulworth Heritage Centre is a great place to learn about the history and geology of the area and thus is an interesting place to visit. Mostly, the centre is made up of the coffee shop and gift shop, which sells a range of local products including a range of scented candles.

Interesting geological display, but mainly commercial sales area
Sep 2019
The centre does have an area devoted to the geology of Lulworth with an informative video and some hands-on activities for youngsters which is well worth visiting. However, the main emphasis seems to be on commercial sales.

Nice information centre
Sep 2019
This was a nice part of the stop at Lulworth and we found they sold some lovely gifts. We would like to try the cafe though.

The centre staff all seemed willing to impart information about what to do and we certainly found this helped us enjoy our visit that bit more.

Interesting place... Worth stopping
Jul 2019
Heritage Centre is easily accessible via Car park or Bus stop. Its a nice place to start the day, as you can get map & even staff is helpful in explaining stuffs. There are some fossils and history about the place which is interesting. There is a coffee shop and lot of food joints around. During weekend the place is extremely crowded.

Thank you for taking the time to review. We're pleased you found the Centre interesting and the staff helpful. We do get busy here, especially at weekends. If crowds aren't your thing, try vising in September or October. The weather can be choice and the visitor numbers are reduced. Many thanks.

Interesting and informative
Aug 2019 • Couples
The displays tell how the Jurassic Coast was formed and how we age this from fossils etc. It is clear and easy to follow. There is a lovely gift shop with lots of interesting local products and crafts for sale. The cafe has a good variety on the menu and is reasonably priced. It is situated next to the car park.
