We wanted to get some cheap outlet shopping. Note that there is a toll for crossing the border from Austria to Italy - 9.50 Euros in each direction! The mall itself is a good size - not too big. The stores themselves mostly have regular prices and not typical low outlet prices. Most stores have a small "sale" section but 95% of each store is regular prices.

Went through the Brenner Pass from Austria (toll cost over €10 can't remember exact but costly) to the outlet mall came back the winding road which gave a good view. Have to say rather underwhelmed when we arrived. Should have known really that these place are much the same, small shops with still inflated prices. Brenner itself was deserted (was around 5pm), felt like tumbleweed should be blowing down the sheets. Its just a scruffy border crossing made into a small outlet mall with a huge train station for lorries.

Just an outlet center, like many others around Europe. I have seen better ones, but nevertheless this one is covered. So a good alternative for a rainy day.

This place is unlike the McArthurGlen outlet villages a place where you seem to get the opportunity to do a great bargain when going through the shops. The center seem from the outside to be quite small but when coming in, you find heaps of stores with good brands. We have it as a standard stop on our trips to Italy for vacation - and will continue to do so.
