Very knowledgeable guide to help us sort out the various wildlife we were seeing. While we went during the heat of the day and therefore mostly saw birds and alligators, we had a great conversation with our guide and he shared pictures from him phone of some of the other animals he'd seen on the trails. We are glad the Collier family set aside this land for wildlife and still allowed the tour to bring people in periodically to appreciate it. Very enjoyable 90 minutes!…

Everything about this tour was wonderful. The staff at Orange Jeep were so very helpful and answered all of our questions. We took the longer tour - the Photography Tour. So different than most wildlife refuges as you see animals in their natural environment no major "intrusion" from people. For the entire tour, the only people there are your tour guide (Mike - who was excellent), and you. My husband and I felt like we were on a mini African safari tour. Not dangerous at all, but there is some rough terrain, so be prepared. Have bug spray handy. We took the sunrise tour and did not need it until the last 10 minutes of the tour, so we didn't even bother. Plan to go again. A paradise for photographers. Shot my first ever Kestrel pic, finally got a Belted Kingfisher with a fish in her mouth, many hawks, deer, wood storks, egrets, herons. Just a beautiful, natural place. If you go in the morning, wear layers. It was cool when we stared, but quickly warmed up. THANK YOU ORANGE JEEP FOR AN AWESOME EXPERIENCE!!!…

This rates up with airboat tours. It’s a nice long ride through a wilderness that surrounds Ave Maria. The Jeep, and it’s driver, take you along and between ancient stands of Bald Cypress.. We saw snakes, alligators, a Kestral, Bald Eagles, and many other birds, insects, and reptiles. The driver is a knowledgeable naturalist and finds and identifies the animals. The ride is not rough but you know you are in a Jeep. Great fun!…
