The journey to the Nanzhao Love Island on 16 Apr 2017 by cruise is about one hour. There is a cultural show depicting the life of the Bai prople on board. The show was entertaining and well presented. Three different flavors of tea (bitter, sweet and third flavour to recall the previous flavour) were served. Nice taste. The show and tea ceremony helped made the sea journey enjoyable. The tour of the island has several stops and was made meaningful by our tour guide Carrie who did a good job describing the cultural and histotical pasts of each stop.

I'm currently sat on the island facing shuanglong town enjoying a 10rmb cup of Pu'er tea. There's nothing too exciting here but it is a lovely place to spend two hours strolling and enjoying the various statues and other artifacts throughout this tiny island. I arrived via a 3 minute boat ride from Shuanglong town but I understand the big tour ship from Dali also makes a stop here.
