Well, what can I say. It was our anniversary and I thought I would take the wife out on the canoe on the Tamar with a little hamper for a picnic down the majestic river through calstock and cothele. Sam, the proprietor is the sweetest guy, so chilled and friendly and basically could not do enough for us, even didn't charge us for the hamper!!!! because it was our special day...

I would seriously seriously recommend this place to anyone wanting to do a bit of canoeing or boat hire. You will not be disappointed!!!!

Fun for everyone

A great afternoon canoeing up the river Tamar. Lots of fun for anyone and everyone one. You get on the canoes at Cotehele Quay. A guide will take you and show you the River Tamar and tell you the History of the Tamar Valley, very interesting. If you don't want to know, thats cool too. They flow up with the tide and the back with the tide, making it extremely easy. Fun for everyone
