-Feel the nostalgia of the past in Shinsekai with your palate with local foods such as Kushikatsu.
This 3-hour food journey will start with visiting the Shinto shine in Shinsekai. You will see an old busy commercial district with the Tsutenkaku Tower as the symbol of this area.

-Step in time as your guide takes you through a food alley from the past.
You wouldn't believe how much you can explore in this narrow alley which is only 1.2m in width.

-Stuff yourself like you mean it at Dotonbori, the "nation's kitchen" with local foods like okonomiyaki and takoyaki.
Dotonbori has been the symbol of Osaka for a long time! Historically a merchant city and during the Edo period, it served as a center for the rice trade.

Magical Trip is a local tour operator with the TripAdvisor certificate of excellence that offers various types of small-group tours throughout Japan! This is the heart of the shopping district and you literally meet all of the tourists, both domestic and foreign, here. There are hence loads of shopping options from cosmetics to clothings to groceries, toys, electronic goods many more. If you’re not the city type of person, better avoid the crowd and go elsewhere that suit your taste/needs.

Dotonbori is a never-ending lifetime place, provide you 24 Hours attraction (food, night club, market, etc). Many don Quijote located in this area for 24 hours. But unfortunately, caused by 24 Hours activities made this area became dirty of trash. For Muslims visitors, there is one place nearby for mushola/prayer room at Daimaru building (use Gmap to find). And also, be careful for Muslim visitors when you use Gmap to find Halal restaurant, several restaurants inform by Gmaps are not halal restaurants. Please only eat at restaurant has halal logo.

If you're after a quiet, calm time - don't come to Dotonbori! If, however, you want lively modern culture, with plenty of eating and shopping options everywhere and so much local colour, then this is most definitely the place to be! It is very busy, both by day and by night, but still feels very safe (we were out on Halloween night, and it was absolutely heaving with people, but I never felt at all worried as I would in a similar experience in London, for example).
