Osaka Local Foodie Walking Tour in Dotonbori and Shinsekai

-Feel the nostalgia of the past in Shinsekai with your palate with local foods such as Kushikatsu.
This 3-hour food journey will start with visiting the Shinto shine in Shinsekai. You will see an old busy commercial district with the Tsutenkaku Tower as the symbol of this area.

-Step in time as your guide takes you through a food alley from the past.
You wouldn't believe how much you can explore in this narrow alley which is only 1.2m in width.

-Stuff yourself like you mean it at Dotonbori, the "nation's kitchen" with local foods like okonomiyaki and takoyaki.
Dotonbori has been the symbol of Osaka for a long time! Historically a merchant city and during the Edo period, it served as a center for the rice trade.

Magical Trip is a local tour operator with the TripAdvisor certificate of excellence that offers various types of small-group tours throughout Japan! Namba is pretty much the center of Osaka and home to many a pop culture landmark such as the Glico Man and Kani Doraku Crab. It is noisy, shiny and busy and a great spot to catch incredible street food and waste some time playing pachinko slots or simply shopping your way through the city. We loved this life embracing that stands in such a stark contrast to Kyoto, which makes the entire region so worthwhile and wonderful!

This area is very busy and very lively. Very close to the train as well. There are boat rides to go on from the river. Nambo's atmosphere is like a carnival/ arcade area. Loud, neon signs, people shouting to promote their shows or to try their food.

I stayed in the Namba area for the three nights I was in Osaka. It's a good area for tourists as it's close to a major subway station and has heaps of restaurants and nightlife.
