Compared to other observatories the ticket price is a low ¥1000. We went at sunset to see the daytime and night view . The night view of the Harbor is really nice. It was relatively quiet when we visited even though the weather was really nice that day. A highlight of Yokohama!

This is a very tall tower in Minato Mirai area. You can see it when walking around this area. Looks better at night.

I happened to be there on the morning after a cold front had gone through, clearing out all the humidity in the air, so views were spectacular. Mount Fuji was clearly visible, and to the northeast the Tokyo Skytree was also clearly visible. Even on a normal day with more humidity in the air, the view of the harbour should still be impressive. The view from here helps to show just how immense the Tokyo-Yokohama city really is. When I arrived at around 9:30 AM, the viewing area was not crowded. (This was on a weekend). It did become somewhat crowded by the time I left at around 11:30 AM.
