I recommend to go here to have your lunch and dinner rather than eating inside the park, there are plenty of options, from food courts, to restaurants.

There are some surprisingly good restaurants on the 3rd and 4th floors and the cinema includes more than Disney-like kiddies films.

This is a great mall that caters for all ages. Good shopping for gifts and clothing. It had cinemas, fun entertainment shops and activities. The prices were reasonable and the food offered was varied from The Rainforest Cafe to Ramen houses and burger places. It...More

Ikspiari is essentially the transfer hub between the local rail line and the Disney resort line with a few shops thrown in for good measure. It is an expensive place but is home to the Outback Steakhouse (see my review of this) and TGI Friday’s....More

We went by train to Ikspiari on our first evening in Tokyo mainly to buy our Disneyland & Disneysea tickets at the Tokyo Disney Resort ticket center. There was no queue at the counter & we soon had our tickets. Feeling a little peckish we...More

Yes. It’s outside but adjacent to the parks. You can spend an entire day there without purchasing anything. It’s not relevant to theme park tickets.

We caught the monorail from Disneyland.... I am not sure where your hotel is in relation to the monorail but the monorail has a station that that’s you right into the shops

Tokyo – A Tentative Itinerary (14 Replies)
Last Christmas we went to New York City and our days were jam packed, despite that we had a wonderful time. However, this trip we will not be able to understand the language, which I think will slow us down considerably, and we will be on our honeymoon, so I wanted to leave more free time in the schedule. Below is a tentative itinerary for Tokyo. Any suggestions or commentary would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! Friday, December 14 -Arrive in Tokyo Saturday, December 15 -Get a...More

I have no idea in the Disney area. However, one thing if you like to see a local Japanese town, Town of Urayasu is close by. The distance is about 3km to north along with the river. Hopefully you can locate a local bus form Disney. The other is: how about looking to see the brand-new buildings in front of Tokyo station. There are two buildings shows up recently. One is Maru-Building and the other is Shin(new)-Maru-Building. In the several lower floors, there are lot of shops and...More
