Went here with our kids 4, & 6 for the second year running. Last time left a huge impression and wanted to got back, or should i say, the kids. No need to speak Japanese, the attractions speak for themselves.
We've been twice and have done both the morning and afternoon session. If you can wake up early, go for the morning session as you get an extra hour more than the afternoon session so your kids can enjoy a few more jobs.
