Shinjuku Southern Terrace is quiet area outside of the busiest train station I've ever seen. Along the perimeter of the terrace are many stores and restaurants.

昼間の風景とは一変です! 仕事帰りに、心癒される風景が目に飛び込んで来ます。 背景には、光の化粧変えるパナソニックタワーも綺麗です! The scenery in the daytime is totally different! When I return to work, the landscape that healed me jumps into my eyes. To the background, Panasonic tower which changes makeup of light is also beautiful!

We have stayed here several times. It provides good value for I guess four star accommodation close to Shinjuku station. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The main restaurant offers buffet breakfast with nice Japanese and western offferings. Staff have good English.

Pretty, lovely and beautiful night view with illumination decoration. If you are in Tokyo, Shinjuku, please do not miss it! The view toward docomo building is also quite awesome.
