After hitting high steps exploring Tokyo, my legs and feet needed some attention. I had swollen and tired feet and legs. I booked in for 60 minutes of reflexology which was great value. The massage started off with a warm footbath massage, then into the full body 90 minutes oil massage. It felt great, good pressure and technique. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a massage! Make a reservation in advance as slots fill up. Our masseuses were Misa and Risa they were great!Thank you for your positive review. We booked a couples massage the same day and they were able to accomodate us soon after. We started with a nice hot foot bath and massage - what a nice surprise! The masseuses were very professional and knew exactly which areas to work on (especially our tired legs and feet from walking). We want to come back tomorrow ;) Thank you Arona Spa Hanare - that was perfect!

My first body massage since i came yo Japan. That was really nice 1 hour body massage. The place was so comfortable, and the staffs were very nice. They’re massage my body very gently. I feel so genki after that. My body was so hard they said. Lol. Yes, very recommended :):)

Great massage experience by Mina,

I trust this was the worst staff service and attitude while we came to the shop in person 20/1 2100 for the already confirmed booking of foot massage on website. The girl said that since we did not have Japanese cell phone number, they unilaterally cancelled our reservation. While I asked the reason why (since not all travellers got local cell phone), she and another girl did not responded to our question and kept looking at the PC screen at front desk ( ignoring us). The girl seemed with higher seniority even whispering to her colleague in Japanese and it seemed like teaching her not to say anything. This was exactly how they treated the customer like this and sincerely hope the management addressed to these 2 staff attitude and handling approach.

We are really sorry to hear that our service did not meet your expectation.
Unfortunately, when you visited us, our reservation service was not ready for international customers.
Therefore when tourist guests sent us a reservation request, we used to send them back an email that told them their reservation request is not confirmed and how to make a reservation without Japanese phone number.
For this reason, your reservation was not confirmed.
And at the front desk, our staff tried to explain about the process above, but we believe our English skill was not good enough and made you confused.
We apologize to gave you such an uncomfortable moment.
We will place more importance on our communication skills, staff training and customer services.
Again we deeply apologize the unpleasant experience you had.

I highly recommend those place.

My partner and I really needed a massage after walking around for days in Tokyo. We went to Arona spa for a 90 mins couples massage and were very impressed. The staff was polite, prices reasonable, and the massage was by far one of the best I’ve ever had. Will be coming back anytime I’m in the Shinjuku area!

The girls were very nice, they speak English, they were very gentle. The pressure of the massage was a little strong for me, but you can ask for less pressure if you want. And you get a foot wash and massage for free.
