Amazing. A must see for rock-'n'-roll fans but also for those who just enjoy live bands.
This place is a jewel undiscovered. I have been to concerts in the US but this place is hands down amazing. The performers, the sound quality and the atmosphere was superb. I made a reservation to go back there in a few days. The music they played made me have goosebumps. Totally loved it there.

    Super live music
Great live music with band being the bar staff and they also allow you to play. I went alone and made friends very quickly as the staff interacts a lot. Not only that but the band is great, they shuffle the musicians but all the songs are very well played. Great experience !

    Are you ready to rock?
Loved it. The band are exceptional, talented energetic musicians with a real love for what they do. And then, getting off stage after their first set, they tidy up your glasses and serve behind the bar. We had an absolutely superb night, sang and drank ourselves silly. It’s a proper music venue so expect it to be dark, loud and authentic. Get involved, and keep on rocking, Bauhaus!

This is the best live rock music bar in Japan!! You can hear the great rock music of 70's, 80's to 90's, and the high quality of the bands is incredible!! In addition, the music charge is inexpensive (@3,500 yen including 1 drink). Many foreigners as well as Japanese rock lovers love to come to this bar every night. You will definitely love this place, too!! You can enjoy from Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Queen, to Journey, Bon Jovi, or Guns & Roses. Many forein visitors to this pub say that there is no better Rock Pub in the world with musicians capable of playing more than 200 rock music songs!! And they even spend their time to talk with and serve customers. I have just visited this Pub yesterday, which has recently moved to a bigger pub, allowing Coronavirus Safety Measures and Rules including additional space between tables. I can't recommend this place enough.

Assuming you love live rock music, I could not recommend Bauhaus enough. We booked a table in advance, arrived at 20:30 and the party was already in full swing! Great sound system, amazing musicians and vocalists, performing all your favourite songs.

Great vibe, packed house, reasonably priced drinks and snacks. As an English speaker it was absolutely no problem to order and interact. The crowd was a mix of locals and tourists / ex-pats, all out for a good time. The musicians clearly adore performing and they were all lovely off stage as well.

Would have gone again the next day if we hadn't flown home in the morning (with a hangover, a hoarse voice and no regrets).

Thank you Bauhaus, you did not disappoint.

We spontaneously got a table in the first row on a Saturday without a reservation. The musicians were epic and passionate! If you're a professional musician, you can also perform on stage yourself. Everyone was very friendly. There is a smoking room, drinks and snacks. It was one of our best evenings in Tokyo.

I have been there in March 2023. The place was busy, but the staff was friendly and kindly found a place to seat for us. Music is good, but the room was really stinky , as people were sweating and there was not enough air circulation. Also, the table was dirty from previous customer and nobody took care of cleaning. We could not finish our beer, it was too stinky and dirty, so we decided to leave.

Fantastic night out, the band was amazing. They have a big songbook and you can put requests in, they nailed my Foo Fighters request. The bar staff who also perform are really friendly and kept chatting with me which was nice as a solo traveller. The snacks were nice as well, really recommend this place

I last went to the Bauhaus 30 years ago. Whenever Japan came up in conversation I always said I would take my wife to show her what she'd been missing. We finally got to do this last Thursday. All I can say is that it still knocks your socks off and I'm glad they survived their move.

So get down there, take friends and family and have a cracking night, these guys are really good. If you're feeling brave you can always join in!

Absolutely bloody brilliant!

Was told by a friend that this place had live band karaoke, must visit when in Tokyo..on point! The house band and regular performers completely blow away any other place I've been to! Super friendly staff, great drinks, totally worth a visit! We'll be back!

By far my favorite Live House, and one of my favorite PLACES on the planet. The band is absolutely top notch, playing covers of 1960s - Today as good (or better, with the theatrics) than the originals. How? They've been playing together longer than most of the bands they cover (Stones excepted), and they ROCK 6 NIghts a Week! Ripping guitar solos, then serving you ice cold beers....Humble and Lovable.....BAUHAUS...the Temple/Church/Cathedral of ROCK.
