About Kazui's Private Kabuki Tour
Kabuki is a very fascinating performing art. I have enjoyed Kabuki for many years! I wish to share my many experiences and knowledge; to show guests a part of the Japan I love as a Japanese person. I want many people to enjoy Kabuki as I do, but I think pople can enjoy Kabuki more with some information before you rent the subtitle devices.

If you are considering seeing Kabuki while you are in Japan (and you should most definitely consider it), you need to contact Kazui. She is a wealth of knowledge as well as extremely helpful. Her communication from start to finish is extremely thorough and she provides excellent advice about selecting a performance. She is also a fun person who is delightful to spend time with learning about Kabuki and both its historic and modern implications. If we had not worked with Kazui, our experience of Kabuki (even if we had lucked into the tickets we had on our own) would have been substantially less meaningful. We definitely hope to return to Japan and, if we do, we will definitely contact Kazui to help us with Kabuki tickets again.

We had a Kabuki tour with Kazui 3 years ago, and again today. The evening performance made for a long day, and we'll sleep well tonight. The tea room in the building is a terrific start and great ambient for the pre-Kabuki lecture. Kazui's materials have improved since our last visit and are thorough and informative. She is clearly an aficionado of the artform and a wealth of knowledge. She looked after the ticket booking and getting us to the show well prepared. Highly recommended for Opera and Theatre lovers of all genres.....Kabuki rocks!

Kazui was really lovely and knowledgeable. Her advice in booking tickets as well as her short lecture on the day were great. I saw three acts of Kabuki - queuing and buying the tickets on the day. Everything was as described, and communication beforehand was brilliant. Thanks Kazui. I'd definitely recommend meeting with Kazui if you're very new to Kabuki.

Travelling with a disabled daughter is not easy, BUT when someone who really cares about Kabuki, it's history, the building, the actors etc is helping you, all becomes easy. After exchanging many emails, Kazui booked the best seats in the theater for us, met us promptly on the morning, went through a brief history and background of all things Kabuki (very informative) Took some good pictures of us outside the theater, then gave us a splendid tour and hands on experience in the gallery. Explaining to us what the different noises and music signified made the whole show come alive. My Downs Syndrome daughter loved the experience. Kazui helped us to chose our Bento boxes ( we are both diabetic and were staying for 4 performances) and once inside got permission for us to use nearby disable toilets that were tucked away round a corner !! We could not have enjoyed and understood the whole performance as much as we did without your help Thank you so much. I would highly recommend this tour to any one who wants to get a true feeling for Kabuki.
