Namba Grand Kagetsu
I've been to Osaka a few times, but I'd never been to Namba Grand Kagetsu, so I decided to get tickets on the day and watched the earliest performance. Advance tickets are the best if you want to watch up close! It's not often that you get to see comedians you often see on TV up close, so it was refreshing and nice. And since it's not everyday that I laugh, I laughed quite a bit🤣lol
I think it might be difficult for foreigners because they don't understand Japanese, but the atmosphere makes you laugh, so I think it's a good experience of Japanese comedy culture✨

It's a place I wanted to visit at least once when I went to Osaka!
There were many people taking photos nearby.
Maybe because of that, it was quite lively and crowded here.
If I had the time, I would like to see Shinkigeki live.
It's fun watching it on TV, but it's even funnier when you see it live.
It's a place that is always recommended, so I'll definitely see it next time!

This is a famous theatre for the Yoshimoto stable of comedians, and as such is a mainstay of Japanese comedy. However, if you don't speak Japanese there's nothing here at all for you. The shows could be interesting in a "I have no idea what's going on but hey - Japan!" -sort of way, but aside from that, best leave this one to the locals. It's certainly no tourist attraction.

Compared to other local attractions we didn't really see why this was ranked so highly. There isn't much to see or do unless you want to see a show. However it is close to Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi so if you want to take a quick look you could.

Very hot and busy in August.
However a multitude of shops and places to eat. You could get everything you want from here and although we only spent a couple of nights in osake did not stray from area.

The two streets running alongside the Doutonburi canal and busy and garish, but still fun; so experience what everyone else has and enjoy yourself.
However, go off the main thoroughfare and you will find some great restaurants. Small, reasonably priced, and really good food.

We took a walk expecting for something more special, but did not find it that attractive. Just very crowded with lots of shops.

In correspondence with the Nanba subway station, this place has the best nightlife spots in the whole city same as Osaka Dotonbori. Of course if you're looking for fun good food and lots of young people, in short, this is the right place.
