Was at the Mint Museum to see the cherry blossoms. When I was in Osaka the flowers were off peak already but there were a few still blooming trees at the Mint Museum.

Best part is, it costs you nothing!! For those history buffs you’ll love this, it was a great setting next to the river. The staff were friendly and had good English.

There is 3km from JR Osaka station to the destination. Alternative plane is use Tanimachi-subway from Higashi-umeda to Higashi-morimachi, and the walk 15 min. Near by you can see Osaka-jou castle.
