We went on a hot afternoon and this was a great relief from the heat. The visit is free and although a bit quick, it gives a good overview of the company and the process. The free tasting at the end was really appreciated.

I went there without a booking (which I've done on at the Nagoya brewery), and the non-English speaking staff just handed me a laminated sign in English saying (basically) "no booking, no tour." Quite a shame, as their Nagoya counterparts are exceptionally accommodating! Based on...More

We had read about this tour and knew we had to book as we are English speaking the day before, our hotel did this for us. Asahi is a well known brand across the world so visiting the brewery was on our list. You are...More

Reservation is needed to join the free Asahi brewery tour! It was an hour of interesting beer processing tour, video presentations and impressive facilities. The highlight?!! Free beer (up to three glasses) and some Japanese snacks at the end. The items at the souvenir shop...More

Asahi Breweries is located near JR Takeshita station and easily accessible from downtown Fukuoka. The visit is free of charge, but accompanied by their staff. Their display is not very informative, but the tasting of beer at the end of tour is excellent!

It was a bit disappointing, we wanted to visit the brewery and travelled the whole way. When we arrived, they asked us, if we have a reservation. Unfortunately not. No visit! We went then to the restaurant of Asahi, but it was a bit the...More

I remember seeing kids there, and they served soft drinks at the end of tour ( when the adults were enjoying beer) but again, always check with their policy on the age restrictions, as you will need to make reservation in... More

Yes, they are allowed. Children can try the Asahi brand juices at the end while the adults can enjoy their beers.
