Enjoyable small museum in three parts: - ancient art (3000 BC to 19th century) - modern art - changing exhibitions - currently about Godzilla The modern art contrasts Japanese modern art with European art. This makes for interesting juxtapositions. A Miro, a Dali, several Chagalls...More

Eclectic place with a decent modern art selection. The exhibits were well laid out and explanations were good for many pieces. There was an ongoing Godzilla special exhibition that made it nice as well but even without if you are in the Ohori park area,...More

This museum is within Ohori Park, a 10-minute walk from the Ohorikoen station. For the price of the entrance fee, this museum is well worth the visit and is very well curated. Amazing works by Dali, Basquiat, Rothko, Warhol, Yayoi Kusama etc. No photos allowed...More

Even if you go in with nothing, you will get out with something. Not literally. Just enjoy and stroll through "art" as they are for your pleasure:)

Unfortunately this museum focuses more on European than Asian art. When from Europe you can't help but notice the art there is much better. Besides who wants to go to Japan to see European art. It does have some nice pieces though but English translations...More

We popped in here when we were visiting the park. The building itself was very cool with cool 70s furniture. Checked out the special exhibitions (you have to pay for tickets) - it was mixed abilities I would say, interesting all the same.
