A place with a western feel to it, but without completely taking over the Japanese spirit. You can spend half a day there. Enjoy the view, have some drinks, take a river cruise and spend a nice romantic enening.

Well organised, fun locals and very tidy place to watch the rugby world cup matches in 2019, with great views of the harbour.

Meriken Park has a little bit of everything in it. There is the earthquake memorial there which provided a lot of history of the area and it was incredible to see the damage that was cause by Mother Nature. There is also a great water...More

Meriken Park is a lovely place. I spent over an hour just wandering around looking at the statuary and the excellent displays about the 1995 Earthquake at the memorial wall. Pictures and commentary in many languages tell the story of the quake and the damage...More

Nice scenery, especially in the weekends and evenings. Beautiful lightened buildings, objects and sculptures. Walk up to the entertainment park at the end and enjoy 1 of the restaurants or bars overthere.

Nice park, quiet, and the eastern quake memorial is without the visit. Nice place to fly a kite, Great places to stroll in the evocation and watch the Kobe ferris wheel light show.
