I must admit – when I paid my 100 yen admission – I didn’t quite know where I was going. I imagined it was the entrance fee to the seaside park. That’s actually free. I was led by a man to the lift & whisked...More

It is only 30 to 45 mins from Kobe, so it is recommended as a pit stop if you are traveling to Himeji Castle, as it is...More

What better way to view the world’s longest suspension bridge than from right below the earthquake-resistant carriageway of the Akashi-Kaikyo Bridge? The entrance fee is reasonably priced and best of all, it’s fairly uncrowded even on weekends. Although this attraction is a little out of...More

My wife and I visited this place on the way back to Kyoto, after our visit to Himeji Castle. We went up to the observatory platform to enjoy the views.

We visited this attraction during summer time with view of the towering masts of 3911 metered long bridge over Seto inland sea. There are 2 historical buildings , former SunYatSen 's residence. It's very cool place to stroll around, even midday time.

I am apprehensive about recommending this area, just because it was lacking in the rush and hustle of tourists, which ironically I am one of. If there was a limit to how many tourists can visit a place before it becomes too loud and noisy,...More

Spectacular view of the surrounding area by entering to the observation deck which is located at the 8th level of the bridge. Also there is an area with a glass floor which provides a view of the sea underneath as you walk on it. Amazing...More

Beautiful scenery and the view was spectacular. You can walk and cycle at this place and there are a park and the bridge exhibition centre is located nearby. A popular spot for both locals and tourist.

Clearly you can see the sea from under the bridge, which is exciting and also scary at the same time, for some of you. Apart from that, you can enjoy the fat horizons from up above. There are some food courts which sell ice creams,...More
