Visiting my grandfathers grave in Yokohama. For me it was worth the visit.💜 We hired a car and it took us an hr to drive there from Tokyo on the express road.

My Dad's brother was captured by the Japanese in WW2 and unfortunately died there. My Dad now also long gone although surviving a prisoner of war camp in Germany in WW2. He would be delighted to think that I found his brother's grave after all...More

Well I for one had no Idea this cemetery was here. Dark secret of the Japanese Military is buried here. The P.O.W's of England, New Zealand, Australia and so on were brought to Japan as prisoners. Most were forced to work in mines and or...More

Queen Elizabeth, Princes Diana, Thatcher visited this cemetery. Children Playground (beautiful cherry blossoms and indoor swimming pool are nice ), Botanical garden, Greenery center are close to British Commonwealth cemetery. There is free parking lot.
