Just north of the Yokohama Doll Museum, this park lies at the water's edge and is a nice respite from the city's busy streets. Flowers, trees and walking paths make it a pleasant stop on a hot day.

They had some festival going on at the park...they were selling rabbits and locals seem to dress them up and have them on leashes. Flowers are very pretty. Great spot to walk around.

Yokohama complements Minatomirai (modern) with Yamashita (old Yokohama). In this sense, a visit to Yamashita and its park is an interesting one for culture afficionados.

This public park stretches along Yokohama's waterfront. It is mainly an open green space, with a water fountain and some flowers. Some obvious landmarks are the Hikawa Maru and the Yokohama Marine Tower. The park was peaceful, with a few locals sitting on the park...More
