What an awesome experience. This is definitely the way to go if you want to stay out of the summer heat or winter cold. The underground passage is something to be experienced and can actually take you all the way down to Susukino!

This long underground place shelters people during winter and is a haven for shoppers. It connects subway stop Susukino with the main Sapporo station. Matsusakaya, Uniglo, Parco, and other known Department stores all have easy connects to this underground .

We enjoyed walking through this underground space with lots of shops and eateries with something for everyone. It also keeps you dry if it’s raining outside!

An excellent study in design and architecture. Connects the city from Sapporo Station all the way past Odori Park. All exits were clearly marked with English translations.
