If you ever fine your self in Kyoto I would see as many sights as you possibly can. However I would make it a high priority to book this amazing tour and see Fushimi-Inari. Not being from Japan myself I would have never learned as...More

Thank you so much for the kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed the hike and hope to see you back here at Fushimi Inari!

Lee was very knowledgable on everything involved with the shrine and surrounding areas. It’s not the same if you just walk up there by yourself, Lee will show you every temple/shrine and clue you in to all the history behind them. Would recommend this to...More

The reviews have it right - this is a tour of Fushimi Inari with a difference! Full credit to our fabulous guide, Lee, for delivering one of the best tours we have ever done (anywhere in the world). There are lots of shrines to see...More

Thank you! I'm really glad you enjoyed the hike and I hope you'll find time to reconnect with nature as we did at Fushimi Inari.

This is an excellent tour that I have no difficulty recommending. The guide, Lee, is knowledgeable, personable and thoughtful, and shows a side of Fushimi Inari, and indeed Kyoto, that many don’t get the opportunity or think to see. I enjoyed this tour so much...More

We cannot recommend Lee's tour of Fushimi Inari enough. He is brimming with knowledge and stories; we left wishing we had recorded the whole morning so we could recall everything we had learned! The mountain and shrines were beautiful, and with the New Year crowds,...More

My fiancé and I loved this experience!! We so enjoyed biking with Lee, who was so kind and knowledgeable! It started pouring in the middle of our tour and Lee was able to redirect us a bit to get us under cover. We ended up...More

Wow! The reviews are great but honestly barely do it justice. Most knowledgeable tour guide I’ve possibly ever had. The mountain and shrines were breathtakingly. It is a bit of a hike so come prepared.

It was not just an old fashion show-and-tell tour for tourists. It was a treat for all our senses and a wonderful learning experience. Lee shared a little bit about everything - mythical stories and philosophies; local perspectives on religious practices; the impact of historical...More

If you're thinking of visiting Fushimi Inari, then I thoroughly recommend this EXCELLENT guided tour! Totally different to other tours, following the flag and stopping en masse and straining to hear the prepared lecture. This was more like having a knowledgable friend show you leisurely...More
