It was a trip to teach healing meditation and share spiritual expressions in Kyoto. Though bit warm but very nice to meet monk as personal guest.

Very charming place where you can take some great pictures! Not very large and not crowded outside the festival period, it allows you to feel the atmosphere of a peaceful Shinto shrine amidst the busy urban life of Kyoto. I would recommend to combine it...More

A beautiful shrine to visit that is situated close to some other attractions in Gion and surrounds. Not the most lavish of those in Kyoto but worth a look in if you are in the area.
