Not very big, but quite a pretty little temple and garden, especially with the huge weeping cherry blossom. Close to the Gion area I was a little surprised it wasn't busier, but a little disappointed to have the peaceful surroundings shattered by a gardener with...More
We visited this temple around 7 30 pm late March. The main attraction here is projection mapping on its beautiful zen garden with Sakura tree. The show is quite short ( a few minutes at most), and it wasn’t so busy maybe because it was...More
Very beautiful views! read the comments we decided to go there to check if this garden is as beautiful as it is described by people who have already visited it and I must say that it was very nice. Kyoto has many temples but it...More

on their site I found no information. Sorry. Maybe you check it, too. I really don't know, but I would assume you pay once and upon leaving you may get a stamp to re-enter the same day for the night illumination. Would find it unusual for the Japanese Service/friendliness if you had to buy 2 tickets.
