I enjoyed a very hospitable experience where with my daughter. We just loved the happy barristers and the attention to detail.

The owners won’t let kids in under 13 and require a passport for kids that look under 15, so just be aware of that. They also wouldn’t let us use the toilet and the place is difficult to find - on the second floor off...More

All the cats of the cafe have all been rescued, which I think is really great. They are treated well, you can see that the owners take care and love them. There are rules to make sure their well-being is respected and the cats themselves...More

If you like cats and want to spend some time with a few really cool cats, go to the Cat Cafe. They also have an owl house which is just brilliant. Worth the the time and reasonably priced.

The cats are really cute and good and the cause of rescuing them and not buying them is great. But.. the stuff were very unkind.. I wanted to go to the toilets before getting in so I won't waste my time, and they didn't let...More

Went with my son who is cat lover. $10 entry fee and must have drink to sit at low tables. Lots of rules about handling the cats maybe because they are rescued animals. Unless you buy treats they ignore you but business seemed brisk. It's...More

Nice people, nice cats but not at all friendly. Cats looked decidedly dejected. All the cats were around the same age - around 9 years old so they were like grumpy pensioners! A few younger cats may have made for a different dynamic. We came...More

If you are excited to go to a cat and owl cafe, think about what it really means. For some people they will enjoy the experience sitting on the fake grass floor and taking pictures up close of the cats. I saw signs for the...More

No district of Kyoto is quite as representative of its
blended nature as the City Center. By day, the covered

bring deal hunters and fashionistas out in droves to
peruse the clothing, accessories, gifts, and home

is a hip spot for nightlife, alive with bars and
