Niall was great. We did a private night walk of Gion and it really opened our eyes to Japanese culture and this part of Kyoto city. Doing the walk at night was really special, very quiet compared to the daytime and just lovely walking through...More

We went around with Leo and saw a temple, a castle, had lunch, wandered through a bamboo forest. Leo knew his stuff and shared a lot of great knowledge with our boys who aged 8 and 11 listened more to him than we expected. Recommend...More

Eric took us to some lesser-known spots around Kyoto so we could avoid the crowds during the holiday season. He was kind, funny, and knowledgable -- telling many interesting facts and stories about Japan, Kyoto, and the specific sites we visited. Loved it!

We booked the Autumn Colors Bike tour of Kyoto for 11/27. Lucky for us, we were the only people on the tour - so we had our excellent guide Eric all to ourselves! Kyoto is an easy city to bike, it's flat and drivers give...More

Southern Kyoto
Southern Kyoto has a reserved air. Though the Fushimi
Inari Shrine is one of Kyoto's major tourist

strolling and reflection. The Fushimi Inari Shrine
itself is made up of 32,000 sub-shrines, and the
mountain they are dotted across beckons hikers,
picnickers, and lovers of the outdoors. Many of the

It’s a great way to see Kyoto. Haven’t been in July but a personal choice. However you see the city you’ll be hot and sweaty! I believe this company does tours that are not cycling too. They were excellent
