Unfortunately, 90% of the buildings are renovated with concrete and not in the old style. The population may be ancient, but unfortunately the buildings are not. The city walls are new not old. Cement is the cheapest material in China and is widely used everywhere

that just a commercial street and not so many old stuff keeping already. we just quick walk & find the place to have a lunch. no special but just the 4 side archway getting important & rare

This ONLY Lane that's photographed is the only photogenic street. Maybe 3 other lanes. But it's a full on city with cell phone stores and negligee shops and stores selling stolen NewBalance shoes. Major disappointment. I came here for Huangshan but it's 49km away. Too...More
