About
In a location eloquently symbolic of Barolo, right at the interface between Barolo’s historic Cannubi hill and La Morra’s Brunate, born our winery founded in the early 1930s that is the classic family-run wine estate. We own approx 5 hectars of land and we produce every year 25.000 bottles of wine always using classical method with ageing in big wood barrels without use of barriques.

This family winery is set in a beautiful location. Silvia gave us such a warm and friendly welcome. We tried 4 of their red wines and the pours were very generous. Silvia also provided cheese, salami, bread sticks and an assortment of cookies that went perfectly with the Barolo! The Barolo was our favorite and they have older vintages available for purchase so you can enjoy them now! We also got a beautiful wooden case to add to our collection! Silvia makes hazelnut meringue style cookies that were really delicious and they’re available for purchase as well as her homemade jam. We met Francesco as he was passing through the room and he stopped to welcome us and shake our hand. A wonderful winery and really great staff!

On our way from Sommariva del Bosco to Barolo, we looked for a winery that we can visit, hear the story and taste the wines. We read the recommendation here and chose to visit this one. It was beyond our expectations. The warmest welcome, the nice family, the excellent guiding and the wines, oh, the wines. We just could not stop "tasting" the Barolo, and our glasses were just filled again and again...
We recommend this place and give it a mark of SIX out of 5!

This place is an absolute pearl! We arrived unannounced at 10am and just knocked at the door. 10 minuets later we found ourself sitting with Sylvia in her tasting room enjoying world class Barolo with cheese and bread. Her persona is top of the class and made us feel very welcome and special. This was a very delicious experience and if there was a higher rate you could give them 5 she would get it! Thank you Sylvia!

Great experience! Silvia makes you feel like part of her family. Great wine, and reasonably priced! Beautiful antipasti served with the tastings. If you visit Barolo, this is a tour you don’t want to miss.

We had an really great time experiencing the great hospitality the family running this vineyard . Very friendly, informative and generous vine tasting and visit to the cantina. Great vine that comes affordable!

We ended up order a box of 12 bottles to be shipped to Sweden. Arrived a few days later as promised without any problems.

We can gladly recommend this to anyone. Just knock on the door to the house and you will be really well treated.

What an amazing experiance. A one in a million place. The wine, the food, but more than all, the kindness of the family. They are so generous and humble while running of of the best wine places in the WORLD. If you arrive in Barollo, skip the castel and go directly to Francesco! Cin cin!! (:

It was an absolutely great wine tasting with the grand parents and her daughter in law. In Italien, english, French and German , the conversation was as impressionating as the great wines, so Barolo, Nebbiola and barbaresca ( my personal favourites). Me and my friends enjoyed both : the fantastic wines and the warmly atmosphere. Thank you so much dear family Bourgogne!
