A really fun and interesting tour.
We had an amazing tour at Caseificio Bio Reggiani. Attila was a great tour guide and was very friendly and answered all our questions. It was very interesting to see al the different parts of the cheese production. Afterwards, we got to try some of the various aged versions of the Parmesan, and some wine as well. There is a small shop on site as well if you want to buy anything.

    The real Parmigiano Reggiano
We had a wonderful visit from start to finish! We saw how the Parmigiano was made with each step explained by our guide. We also went to see the cows including the adorable babies. Our visit was completed with a tasting of ricotta made that morning and 3 different age Parmigiano cheeses. Our guide explained the differences and what we should be looking for. Now we are praying TSA allows our cheese in!

What an awesome visit! We met the cows, saw the cheese made from start to finish, witnessed a wheel of cheese being cut the old-fashioned way and tasted the most delicious wheel of aged parmesano reggiano. Theresa, the owner, was gracious, generous and informative. This was out of the way for our group as we were staying in Tuscany but well worth the trip!

We had a really great time with our family; informative, friendly and interesting. The tour was the right length of time, ending off with a relaxed tasting. Would definitely recommend to experience this age-old craftsmanship.

this is a very educational visit

this location is fairly big. you will visit the cows pen, cows milking station, and see the 3 different rooms where parmigiano reggiano (commonly called parmesan, to the consternation of italians) is being made from scratch, fermented, and aged.

at the end of your, you will get to taste riccota cheese, parmigiano reggano of 20, 40, and 80 years old

make sure you are one of the early birds if you want to see the cheese making process, as the workers begin as early as 5 am

Attila was an incredible guide, very passionate and engaging. Family owned parmigiano reggiano farm.
After the tour you can purchase some cheese and good jams.

This was a 2 hour round trip for us but definitely worth doing. You have to go for the 8.00 or 9.00 AM tours to see the staff actually producing the cheese but they alert you to this when you book.

The process is fascinating and our English guides Andreas was in good humour and an excellent guide for the hour or so it took.

Finished with a nice few samples of ricotta and various aged Parmesan to try side by side.

The shop too is where you can buy regional products as well as their cheese. The still warm ricotta is outrageous, thinking we made a.mistake only buying a kilo of it 🤣

I found this Sunday visit to the dairy extremely interesting. I didn't know all the work, manual skills and processes that lead to the creation of this extraordinary product
A really nice way to enhance parmesan, its characteristics and peculiarities
The guide illustrated all the production processes from the cow to the seasoned form and then also accompanied us to do a very tasty series of tastings which I very much appreciated
The only flaw is perhaps the presence of many children who I don't think can appreciate or understand a similar experience and who, inevitably, get bored and create a bit of a disturbance.
Other than that, a really nice experience that I recommend

There is the possibility of taking guided tours even on Sunday mornings to see the entire production process of Parmigiano Reggiano

Although we had started not exactly brilliantly, due to a delay of the previous group, everything then went very well.

The visit begins from the stables with the explanation of the care, milking and collection of the milk which then moves on to the subsequent phases of skimming, breakdown from the whey and the passage to the laboratory with explanations by the guide, of the various phases of production up to storage for the seasoning

It is a visit that I recommend.
