Very Interesting Architecture

There are many sculptures and old architectures, but the area is a little too small. Just like a small old town, but worth photographing.

Boring, fake and overpriced
May 2013
Only two streets, bad restaurants and overpriced artists and little souvenir shops. If you are only in taining you might as well check it out, it only takes 5 minutes to see all there is to see. Try mot to get ripped off when buying something. The place stinks of bad sewage.

Not too much to see
May 2012 • Friends
At the moment, there are just 1-2 main streets to walk along. There is a network of streets and lanes but many have not been restored and do not look too inviting or safe, especially during the night. It should be much more vibrant and attractive once the whole area has been done up. At one end is a square with 2 water wheels which are supposed to bring fortune / prosperity to the area. There are shops selling antiques and foodstuff, and there is a public toilet too. The main attraction here is the Ming dynasty residence of a war minister, which has an entrance fee. The small riverside promenade with the many bronze statues is nearby too.
