Newgothic chapel built as a burial place for members of Schwarzenberg family. Looks like made from stones, but it is built by bricks and decirated as imitation of stones. In the basement several coffins with bodies of some members of noble family Schwarzenbergs. Last burial...More

During our spa sojourn in Trebon we went for many walks, one of them led us to the Schwarzenberg Mausoleum. The walk around the western side of the pond Svet (=World) on its impressive massive dam with old oaks which are home to rare endangered...More

Very interresting architecture with a nice walk through a park. During the summer it's full of people on bikes.

It's located in the midde of the woods, not far NW from Trebon. Park by the entrance to the woods, then a short walk in well-maintained gravel paths lead you to the mausoleum. We were there late in the day so it was closed.

It takes 45 to 90 minutes to tour this site. It is well taken care of. The tombs are only accessible as part of a tour. It would be nice to have audio tours in multiple languages made available.

Schwarzenberg mausoleum (Schwarzenberská hrobka) is a very beuatiful sight for these reasons: neogothic architecture, atmosphere, location in the centre of a quite small forest park. Unfortunately, it works only during season and entrance fee is quite high in relation to what you can see inside....More

When you go for a walk around the lake Svet you will eventually find this lovely building. I thought it was a chapel or a small church as it looks like one. It is actually a mausoleum of the Schwarzenberg family. It was built between...More
