Overview
Visit Galle which is the capital city of the Southern Province of Sri Lanka. The town has a World Heritage Site to its name and that is predominantly responsible for its popularity with tourists. This is the 300-year-old Dutch Fort, but there are other historical buildings to view as well. Take an exciting yet comfortable boat trip out to sea and be fortunate to see Blue Whales; the largest creatures on earth, Bryde’s Whales, Sperm Whales, Killer Whales, and Fin Whales. You can also meet pods of friendly Dolphins such as the Common dolphins, Bottlenose dolphins, Spinner dolphins, Risso’s dolphins and striped dolphins as they playfully somersault and dance on the ocean waves. There’s also a good chance of seeing flying fish, turtle, manta rays and even sharks.

GUYS please check the weather forecast before booking this whale watching expedition, Sadly we did not, it is expected that you are gonna be super excited to see the whales but trust me you are in for one hell of a ride if the seas are rough, that’s exactly what happened to us, 2 hours of sailing into the ocean , all of us throwing up, people getting sick and the biggest disappointment is that we saw 1 whale for like 5 seconds , what a waste of money time and energy , the tour operators will try their best to sell the tickets to you at your resort or the jetty but don’t be fooled by this. Please make sure the weather holds up, I.e not too strong winds . Or else u will surely be left disappointed .

It was one of the worst tourist experiences that I have ever had in my life. Whale watching should be banned is absurd. Every time a whale is sighted, with around twenty full-engine boats chase the poor animal that emerges from the water to take oxygen. If you love animals, you shouldn't do this absurd practice.

Nice boat with nice crew. Breakfast sandwiches, coffee and tea and water. We saw some dolfins and later at least 10 blue whales. Soms boats come to close or chase them. But this boat likes to do it as if should. Were just 3 hours out, close to the shore.
