I am one of the tourist guides who take their guests to Raja Whales. They are the no.1 because they are the best.. Comfortable boat, good breakfast and good service.. Better to reserve two days before because they get full even before a day

We were the first boat out of the harbor and the last one that came back, so the extra 500 Rupees they charge compared to other companies is worth it. The boat was far from full so we had plenty of space to move around....More

Going in off peak season for whale watching worried me a bit- mainly because I get seasick and knew the sea would be pretty choppy. Initially I booked with Atlantis but doing some research online I changed my mind to raja and the whales. We...More

We booked a whale watching trip with Raja the Whales . While we did get lucky and spotted 10+ dolphins, 2 brede whales and 1 huge blue whale, it has to be said that whale watching is highly dependent on nature, similiar to most wildlife...More

Professional and knowledgeable staff. We were lucky to spot the whales early so were only out from 6am - 11am (we were told we could be out until as long as 4pm until the whales were spotted). The crew kept us fed and watered throughout...More

I would recommend this as an excursion if someone has a few days on the beach and doesn't mind the early morning (meet at 6am in Mirissa) with a long journey out to the whale watching locations way out to sea (2 hours on a...More

There were young children on the trip but due to the nature of the sea they were constantly cradled in their parents arms. No reason not to take a two year old but be mindful they are not able to roam.
