Great place to investigate, and a wonderful way to discover local wines and traditions. he cellars remain cool in sultry summer days, it's an asset too! Wonderful staff.

When we were last in Cupramontana, this facility was under construction. Two years later, we returned to find a stunning center that houses a great resource for wine lovers. The setting in the basement of the ancient monastery features massive vaulted stone ceilings. It shows the town's dedication to promoting their Verdicchio, and is a very smart idea to combine the tourist center, wine label museum, and a tasting facility. Clearly there is information here for far more serious oenologists than we are, but we enjoyed a delightful tasting of 4 wines of our choice at 5€/person.
