When we were last in Cupramontana, this facility was under construction. Two years later, we returned to find a stunning center that houses a great resource for wine lovers. The setting in the basement of the ancient monastery features massive vaulted stone ceilings. It shows the town's dedication to promoting their Verdicchio, and is a very smart idea to combine the tourist center, wine label museum, and a tasting facility. Clearly there is information here for far more serious oenologists than we are, but we enjoyed a delightful tasting of 4 wines of our choice at 5€/person. The sommelier was charming and very well informed. This is a great destination for anyone visiting the Marche region!…
