Continuing the happy experience of last year, the museum has dedicated further space to prehistoric animals, already announced outside by the impressive reproduction of a Megalodon.
The museum is a dense concentration of precious finds (one for all: the Man of Mondeval, but not only) and rich documentation treated with wisdom and extreme clarity.
We can therefore only say we are largely satisfied and fully confirm the flattering notes expressed previously.
PS - Given the persistence of the dysfunctions during the loading phase, for the moment I am not attaching the photos relating to the review. I reserve the right to send them at a later time.

Friendly and helpful staff. New and well organized structure. Clean and tidy premises. The exhibits are clearly organized, even for my toddler. In my opinion, it would have been interesting to highlight some crucial passages more (from Paleo to Neolithic, agriculture, discovery of fire, writing) and their consequences. However, a wonderful experience, which I highly recommend.

Many folks understand Selva di Cadore is much famous for ski activities. However I and my family found that place and spent 2 hours enjoying lots of exihibitions regarding geologies around that area. We were foreigners and that was first time in the region so it was a bit limited to fully understand all the information, however we especially my kid enjoyed the time at there.

I enjoyed looking at collections - 251 million years ago during visiting the Dolomites, Unesco World Heritage. This is an authentic
museum. This museum is divided 3 sections, the geological section, the archeological section and the new historical section. I liked the archeological section. We got the good explanation from the staff of the museum. 1 hour should be enough to enjoy all exhibits in the museum. I enjoyed imaging
the life style of residents living in Dolomites.
It is easy to find out it to Cadore.

This museum is in the picturesque town above where our hotel was in Caprile. We spent an informative morning here on a rainy day.

This museum has some amazing exhibits all found in the area. From what looks like a dinosaurs day out at the beach, via the grave and goods of "Mondeval man", to an analysis of the iron mining and refining in the area, it is fantastically interesting. If there is a downside it is that the english translations are a bit sparse, so take a good dictionary.

Discovered by chance, but of national stature. Well made, well cared for, it supports schools in an unparalleled way.
There should be more support from the institutions.
Congratulations to those who work there for their courtesy and preparation.
