Fantastic memorial and exhibit. Include extensive information, pictures, videos, montages, items...needs at least an hour and that’s just the English and looking around. The nearby devastation site (a very short drive down the road, and one of several in the larger region) was striking and also warrants at least an hour. Accessible buy tourist/passenger hybrid bus from Mianyang or tourist bus from Chengdu. Can be done in a day along with the Qiang minority tourist village which is on the same bus route. If staying the night the Disaster Prevention and Education Center (防灾减灾宣传教育中心)is a cheap, simple option right down the street near the bus lot.
